About Abbott Builders

Manny Bucur started working in construction with his father at the age of 16. After serving in the Marine Corps and working for corporate America, Manny went back to what he loved.

In 2003 Manny started Abbott Builders, a family-owned business located in Saint Charles, IL. Twenty years later, Abbott Builders is one of the top construction companies in the Chicago suburbs.

In 1991 Manny joined the Marine Corps and served until 1995. During his service he saw combat in Somalia and earned the rank of Corporal.

Manny has been very active in the veterans community including serving as the Commander of the Bartlett VFW Post 11018, and Commandant of the DuPage County Marine Corps League Detachment #399.
